Selected works will be showcased in a curated exhibition, bringing the light of hope and understanding for all people navigating their own mental health journeys. 

 

Theme: Industry Lab is seeking works from artists related to how art and its practice have affected their well-being. Through your art, share the journey of struggle, pain, acceptance, resilience, and the beauty found in embracing one's mental landscape.

 

Mediums: Open to all forms of art – paintings, drawings, digital art, photography, sculptures, textiles, creative writing, and mixed media.

Show dates: Friday, March 29 - Friday, April 12, 2024

Exhibition will be on view during opening and closing receptions and by appointment

Requirements: 

• Submissions due by Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 9:00pm

• Artwork must include a means to be hung, e.g., a painting on stretched canvas, a framed drawing, etc. or must be free-standing 3D pieces.

• Max size 48 in x 48 in

• Please inquire about size and weight limits for sculptural work 

• 3 submissions max per person 

• You will find out if your work has been accepted by Friday, March 8th

Please email industrylabartshow@gmail.com with the subject line: Well-Being Show Submission and your name. 

Please include:

1. Your name and a brief artist’s bio (3 sentence max)

2. Title of your piece.

3. Dimensions and approximate weight.

4. One sentence description of how your work relates to the theme of well-being.   

5. If your work is for sale and (if applicable) a sale price. 

6. Attach a photo of your work

 

Applicants will be notified if their work has been accepted by Friday, March 8, 2024. Upon acceptance, we will arrange a time for you to drop off your work.
